Detroit Lions Suffer Defensive Blow with Injuries to Two Linemen Against Bears

The Detroit Lions’ defense has suffered another blow, with two defensive linemen, Josh Paschal and Levi Onwuzurike, ruled out of the game against the Chicago Bears due to injuries.

Paschal left the game in the first half after chasing down Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and falling awkwardly to the ground. He was initially listed as questionable to return but was later downgraded to out with a knee injury.

Onwuzurike went down in the waning seconds of the first half with a hamstring injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

The Lions are already thin on the defensive line, with Aidan Hutchinson, Marcus Davenport, John Cominsky, and Kyle Peko on injured reserve. The team will hope that Paschal and Onwuzurike’s injuries are not long-term.

The injuries are a significant concern for the Lions, who are already struggling with depth on the defensive line. The team will need to rely on their remaining players to step up and fill the gaps left by Pascal and Onwuzurike.

Despite the injuries, the Lions managed to hold on to win the game against the Bears. However, the team will need to address their injury concerns if they hope to continue their winning streak.
