“The Unseen Force: Indiana’s Emergence as a National Contender”

The Indiana Hoosiers are ranked No. 5 in the most recent AP Poll, released on Sunday afternoon.

In last week’s College Football Playoff rankings, Indiana also held the No. 5 spot. The next CFP ranking update is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night on ESPN, and the Hoosiers are expected to remain in the top ten following their bye week.\

The top four conference champions earn the top four seeds and first-round byes. Currently, Indiana is a No. 7 seed and would host a first-round matchup against No. 10 Alabama.

Other Big Ten teams ranked in the top five include Oregon, Ohio State, and Penn State, with Illinois also ranked at No. 24.

Indiana will travel to Buckeye Stadium for a crucial road game against No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for noon ET on FOX, with Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt, and Jenny Taft providing the commentary. Both ESPN’s “College GameDay” and FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” will be live from Columbus before the game.
