JUST IN:Vikings Rising Star, Hampered by Damage, Has Fruitful Surgery 

Before the begin of the 2023 season, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Brian Asamoah II was considered a breakout candidate after a promising rookie season.

 

But as the pooch days of preparing camp wore on, Asamoah was supplanted by undrafted rookie Ivan Pace Jr. Credit to Pace, who was one of the beat rookie guards this season, but Asamoah losing his spot to an undrafted rookie was another negative mark on the 2022 draft lesson.

 

Be that as it may, agreeing to KSTP’s Darren Wolfson, Asamoah was managing with a bear damage as distant back as preparing camp, which hampered his moment season.

 

 

Asamoah II declared on social media that he experienced effective surgery on January 17. “Can’t hold up to assault this rehab and get back to work,” he posted on X (once in the past Twitter).

 

“He was on the damage report with a bear issue going back to preparing camp,” Wolfson said on SKOR North’s “Mackey and Judd” podcast on January 18. “My understanding is he was engaging something the whole year. … We presently know why it was such a troublesome year. He got harmed early and he never recuperated. So this surgery this week was to settle that issue that begun back in preparing camp.”
