**Miami’s 2025 Class Keeps Climbing with Hayden Lowe Flip**
Mario Cristobal is on fire, adding another gem to Miami’s 2025 class by flipping 4-star edge rusher Hayden Lowe from USC, propelling the Hurricanes into the top 10. Lowe, ranked 189th overall, is now Miami’s highest-ranked commit and joins fellow edge rushers Herbert Scroggins and Mykah Newton in what’s shaping up to be a dominant defensive haul.
Lowe’s decision was swayed by Miami’s strong recruiting pitch and the chance to learn from Pro Football Hall of Famer Jason Taylor. Add in Miami’s proven track record of developing elite edge rushers like Rueben Bain, and it’s easy to see why Lowe’s excited to join the Hurricanes.
This commitment brings Miami to 23 total pledges for 2025, with half focused on building a fearsome defense. Cristobal’s already shown he’s willing to play freshmen, with Bain and O.J. Frederique leading the way.
As key edge rushers prepare to graduate after next season, Lowe and the rest of the 2025 class are poised to keep Miami’s defense firing on all cylinders. With the Early Signing Period just around the corner, Cristobal is adding serious heat to the Hurricanes’ recruiting.
