The 49ers quarterback was sacked in the first half of Saturday’s division win over the Green Bay Packers.The San Francisco 49ers have confirmed that Deebo Samuel is out for Saturday’s divisional round playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.The Niners, however, are still anxiously awaiting whether the quarterback can face the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday night.Samuel was forced out of a narrow 24-21 win against the Packers in the first half with a shoulder injury after hauling in two touchdowns for 24 yards. The 28-year-old missed two games this season with a shoulder problem, and the Niners lost both games.49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided an update on the latest injury situation, adding that the club should have a better idea of his availability before this weekend’s game on Wednesday.”It wasn’t broken, so that was a really good sign,” Shanahan said. “But it’s still too sore right now to have a good idea how it’s going to heal this week. So we’ll just have to be patient, see how he feels on Wednesday.
