**Kevin Magnussen to Leave Haas F1 Team After 2024 Season, Seeks New Opportunity**

Kevin Magnussen, the 31-year-old Danish Formula 1 driver, will part ways with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team at the end of the 2024 season as his contract will not be renewed. This marks his second departure from the team.

Magnussen expressed his gratitude to the team and owner Gene Haas, especially for bringing him back in 2022 when he thought his F1 career had ended. He reminisced about the memorable moments and committed to giving his best for the remainder of the 2024 season.

Team principal Ayao Komatsu praised Magnussen for his contributions and highlighted the significant impact he had, including a notable fifth-place finish at the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix. Komatsu also expressed hope for a continued association with Magnussen in some capacity, given his valuable experience and knowledge.

Despite a challenging season with only five points compared to teammate Nico Hulkenberg’s 22, Magnussen remains optimistic about finding a new seat in Formula 1 for 2025. Hulkenberg will also be leaving Haas at the end of the season. Formula 2 driver Oliver Bearman has been signed for the 2025 season, and there are rumors about Esteban Ocon being a potential new recruit for the team.
