Ronnie O’Sullivan takes part in new snooker event in SauBREAKING NEWS:di Arabia with rare new ‘gold ball’

It has been announced that Ronnie O’Sullivan will take part in the inaugural Riyadh Season World of Snooker to be held in Saudi Arabia later this year.

This brand new competition will be held in March and the event will introduce snooker’s innovative new concept, the ‘Gold Ball’.

O’Sullivan claimed his eighth Masters title last week, claiming he is the best in the business, and will be hoping to continue his form over the coming days at the World Grand Prix in Leicester.

Having achieved it all, the Briton never hesitated to avoid events and focus his attention on specific competitions that he prioritized.
However, it turns out he is planning a new tournament in Saudi Arabia this year.
Saudi Entertainment Directorate Chairman Turki Alalcik confirmed that an agreement had been reached with World Snooker to hold the event in Riyadh.
This tournament will be the first invitational tournament in Japan.
The tournament is scheduled to be held from March 4th to 6th, one month before the World Championships at the Crucible in Sheffield

O’Sullivan, Judd Trump and Luca Bressel will also take part in the event, and the match will be played under current World Snooker rules and regulations.

However, major changes were made to the rules, and the competition will test out “radical new concepts.

A 23rd ball, which will be golden in color and known as the Riyadh Season Ball, will also be introduced.

The value of this ball is he 20 points, but if the player takes the maximum break until he reaches his 167 points, the player cannot pot the ball until all other balls on the table are cleared.
