REPORT;Arsenal vying with Man United for ‘unique’ £50m transfer, but release clause cannot be triggered

Arsenal are interested in signing Bologna sensation Joshua Zirksee, while Mikel Arteta is looking for a new striker.

The Gunners have struggled to score goals in recent weeks, with a number of strikers rumored to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Ivan Toni is reportedly one of the targets, with Dušan Vlahovic and Borja Mayoral also implicated.

The Gunners are claimed to have included Dutch striker Zirkzee on their shortlist.

The player was previously linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The Telegraph reports that Arsenal are eyeing the former Bayern Munich star.
His current employer recognized Zirkzee’s achievements with his £50 million award.

Bologna sporting director Marco Di Vaio has previously issued a warning to anyone interested in Zirksee.
He also revealed that only Zirksee’s former club, Bayern, can trigger the release clause in Zirksee’s contract.
“How many calls did we receive?
None.
And we didn’t respond anyway!
” he told Italian media

Joshua is nine and a half years old, but he looks like no one else.
He’s a unique player.
Exit clause?
This only applies to Bavaria [Munich].
Prices are open for other clubs, but none of our top players will be moving in January.
