BOSTON, MA) – The Timberwolves had a busy day of travel during their 127-120 loss to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

Due to weather, Minnesota’s flight from Orlando was delayed until yesterday morning, leaving Minnesota to play its second straight game just hours after arriving in Boston.

The Wolves held a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter, but their offense stalled.

Boston fought back to force OT and beat Minnesota 16-9 in the extra frame.

Anthony Edwards had 29 points and Karl-Anthony Towns had 25 points in the loss.

The Wolves remain in first place in the Western Conference with 26 wins and 11 losses.

Minnesota hosts Portland on Friday night
