Did Warriors Find Key Piece in Their Rebuild?

The Golden State Warriors may have discovered a crucial piece for their future in rookie Quinten Post. In a recent game against the Indiana Pacers, Post played his first meaningful minutes, scoring 6 points and showcasing his potential as a shooting threat.

As a 7-foot center, Post’s ability to stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting could be a game-changer for the Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr was impressed with Post’s performance, saying, “It was fun getting Quentin his first real minutes… just to see him come out there and space the floor.”

Post’s stats are promising, with a 38.8% 3-point shooting average in college and 28.8% in the G League. He’s also averaging 17.3 points and 8.5 rebounds in the G League.

While developing rookies like Post isn’t the Warriors’ top priority this season, it’s clear that he could be an important piece for their rebuild. As Kerr noted, “If Quentin can develop, he could be a real threat for us and give us a totally different look offensively.”
