20-year-old mom found shot to death in park, Ohio cops say
Lanyah Dawson, a 20-year-old mother, was found shot and killed in Mt. Airy Forest in Cincinnati, Ohio, according to police. Dawson was discovered unresponsive in the roadway around 12:30 a.m. on December 7. She leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter.
Family Pleads for Justice
Dawson’s family is seeking justice and urging anyone with information to come forward. Her mother, Nyresha Dawson, described Lanyah as “the life of the party” and “very fun, outgoing.” Nyresha Dawson pleaded with the public to speak out, saying, “She still had a whole life ahead of her.”
Investigation Ongoing
The Cincinnati Police Department’s homicide unit is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the unit at 513-352-3542. No suspects have been named, and the motive for the shooting is unclear.
