“Breaking News: Alabama Star Withdraws from 2025 Senior Bowl – What This Means for His Draft Stock”

Former Alabama safety Malachi Moore has withdrawn from the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, as confirmed by event officials to AL.com on Monday.

The reason for Moore’s withdrawal has not been disclosed, though it follows his absence from the season-ending ReliaQuest Bowl after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed injury. The Hewitt-Trussville product was a key contributor for the Crimson Tide over five years and earned first-team All-SEC honors as well as second-team All-America recognition in 2024.

With Moore’s departure, four Alabama players remain in the Senior Bowl: quarterback Jalen Milroe, tight end C.J. Dippre, defensive lineman Tim Smith, and punter James Burnip. The game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium, with live coverage on NFL Network.

Senior Bowl practices will take place from Tuesday to Thursday, with sessions open to the public at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
