CHARLOTTE — The Panthers bolstered their defensive line on Friday by signing former Chargers nose tackle Jerrod Clark to a reserve/future contract.

Clark, 25, has spent the past two seasons with the Chargers. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 334 pounds, he was initially signed as an undrafted rookie out of Coastal Carolina.
