Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has signed with Klutch Sports Group, as confirmed by the agency on X (formerly Twitter) Wednesday afternoon.
“Welcome Jalen Milroe to our 2025 NFL Draft Class!” the announcement stated.
This move marks a significant step for Milroe, who took over as Alabama’s starting QB after Bryce Young, the 2023 No. 1 overall pick. Milroe’s journey has been filled with highs and lows, highlighted by his first year as a full-time starter in 2023, where he threw for 2,834 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just six interceptions in Nick Saban’s final season.
Although eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft, Milroe chose to return for his redshirt junior season under new coach Kalen DeBoer. However, his passing numbers took a hit, with a slight increase in yards (2,844) but a drop in touchdowns (16) and an increase in interceptions (11). On the ground, Milroe excelled, rushing for 726 yards and 20 touchdowns—ranking second among FBS quarterbacks.
Milroe enters the 2025 draft as a wildcard prospect. His potential as an NFL quarterback is debated due to inconsistency, with moments of brilliance and frustrating play under pressure. He showcased his upside in a memorable September 28 win against Georgia, but also struggled in a costly November loss to Oklahoma.
Klutch Sports has been building a strong roster for the 2025 draft, with Milroe joining Alabama teammates like offensive lineman Tyler Booker and linebacker Jihaad Campbell.
