“NEWS NOW: ESPN Forecasts Who Will Be Alabama Football’s Next Starting Quarterback!”

ESPN recently predicted the starting quarterbacks for all Power Four schools in 2025, and they’ve selected Ty Simpson for Alabama.

Simpson, who will be a redshirt junior next season, is the most experienced quarterback on the Crimson Tide roster. A former five-star recruit, he has served as Alabama’s primary backup for the past two seasons.

In 2024, the Tennessee native appeared in six games behind Jalen Milroe, throwing for 167 yards on 14 completions, along with 44 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Simpson’s most notable performance came during the 2023 season against USF, when he replaced Tyler Buchner after a rough start and led the team to victory. He completed five passes for 73 yards and ran for a touchdown.

As the quarterback battle in Tuscaloosa heats up, all eyes will be on Simpson and his potential to secure the starting role for 2025.
