The No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers were eliminated by the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Friday night. Though they didn’t shine in the playoff, head coach Curt Cignetti, in his debut season, guided Indiana to its best record ever. The Hoosiers won 10 consecutive games, finishing the season 11-1, marking the first time in history they reached 11 wins, cementing their status as a Big Ten powerhouse.
After the loss, Cignetti expressed gratitude for the players and coaches, while looking forward to the 2025 season: “Thank you! Thank you seniors, team & staff for your commitment and hard work.
