Mumbai, where Coldplay is also scheduled to perform, has seen a similar surge in hotel prices.

In other news, MakeMyTrip has acquired expense management platform Happay, which is expected to strengthen its presence in the corporate travel segment. Additionally, Tourism Australia has signed a three-year marketing agreement with Air India to promote travel between India and Australia.
