News: Green Bay Packers Will Miss at Least 4 Key Players Vs. Detroit Lions, Per Final Injury Report

The Green Bay Packers will be without at least four key players when they face the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football. The team has officially ruled out cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), safety Corey Ballentine (knee), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring), and wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion).

Alexander will miss his third consecutive game, while Cooper will be out for his third straight match. Ballentine suffered a knee injury during the Packers’ Thanksgiving victory against the Miami Dolphins and has missed the entire week of practice.

The Detroit Lions have also ruled out four players ahead of Thursday Night Football, including defensive end Josh Paschal (knee), defensive tackle DJ Reader (shoulder), left tackle Taylor Decker (knee), and defensive end Levi Onwuzurike (hamstring).

In the absence of Doubs, wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks is expected to fill in and could be a key factor in the game. Wicks had his highest percentage of offensive snaps against the Miami Dolphins and could be looking to bounce back from a lackluster outing in Week 9.

The Packers will be looking to Wicks and other players to step up in the absence of their injured teammates. The game against the Lions is a crucial one for the Packers, who are still in the hunt for a playoff spot.
