News: 3 Reasons Cincinnati Bengals Fans Have to Be Grateful in 2024

3 Reasons Cincinnati Bengals Fans Can Be Thankful in 2024

As Thanksgiving arrives, Bengals fans still have plenty to appreciate despite a challenging 2024 NFL season. Here are three reasons for gratitude:

  1. Still in the Playoff Hunt
Despite a rough start, the Bengals remain in contention for a playoff spot. With six games left in the season, they still control their destiny. If they can win out, they have a 94% chance of making the postseason, giving fans a reason to stay hopeful, even if it’s a long shot.
  2. Super Bowl Appearances
Although they’ve yet to win a Super Bowl, the Bengals have made it to the big game three times—something that four NFL teams (including division rival Cleveland) have never done. Even without a win, Cincinnati’s Super Bowl history puts them ahead of many other franchises.
  3. Joe Burrow as Franchise QB
The most significant reason for Bengals fans to be thankful is having Joe Burrow at quarterback. Since being drafted No. 1 overall in 2020, Burrow has proven himself as one of the league’s elite quarterbacks. Leading the NFL with 27 touchdowns and third in passing yards, he’s shown that as long as he’s at the helm, the Bengals will always have a shot at contending for a championship.
