On Tuesday, Miami was ranked No. 8 in the third of five weekly rankings released by the 13-person selection committee. This marks a one-spot improvement from their No. 9 ranking in last week’s poll. These rankings will ultimately determine the 12-team playoff field, with the final rankings set to be revealed on December 8.
