Rumors debunked: LSU 4-star commit speaks out before visiting Texas.

LSU’s 2025 recruiting class is on fire, sitting at No. 4 overall, led by future stars like QB Bryce Underwood, CB DJ Pickett, and RB Harlem Berry—three of the top 20 prospects in the nation. But the Tigers’ biggest commit might just be 330-pound DT Zion Williams, who locked in with LSU back in July.

Now, rumors are swirling after Williams announced a surprise trip to Austin this weekend to watch Texas take on Kentucky. While it’s an unofficial visit, some are wondering if the Longhorns—once on Williams’ shortlist—might be making a move to flip him.

But Williams isn’t having it. He shot down the talk fast, posting on X, “I’m not going anywhere other than LSU. I was just trynna watch some good games, and if you didn’t hear it from me, it ain’t true.”

The Tigers can’t afford to lose Williams, ranked 26th nationally among 2025 defensive linemen, especially with a rough month behind them—three straight losses after a 6-1 start. With just two games left, LSU will look to finish strong, starting with a Vanderbilt team that’s bowl-bound, followed by Oklahoma to close out the regular season.
