Bills could gain significant Week 13 edge over 49ers following recent injury update.

The Buffalo Bills are heading into their bye week on a high note, riding a six-game win streak. They are now focusing on their Week 13 primetime matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, which will be featured on Sunday Night Football. The Bills, who are 8-2 and looking to extend their success, will have extra time to prepare for the game, while the 49ers, who are 5-5 and currently second in the NFC West, will face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.

The 49ers have been dealing with some key injuries, including to star defensive end Nick Bosa. Bosa is nursing an oblique/hip injury, which will be monitored throughout the week. While it’s too early to say whether Bosa will be available for the Week 13 game, his potential absence could be a significant advantage for the Bills. Bosa is one of the NFL’s top pass rushers, and not having to face him would give Buffalo’s offensive line a boost. The 49ers’ defense is already formidable, with players like Fred Warner and Leonard Floyd, but Bosa’s absence would certainly help the Bills’ offensive game plan.

Although it’s still early to know the full extent of Bosa’s injury, Buffalo fans should keep an eye on the situation, as the Bills’ preparation will change depending on whether Bosa plays or not. The Bills’ offense would be in a much more favorable position if he is sidelined.

In other injury news, the Bills are dealing with some setbacks for their Week 11 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, including wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) and tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee). Both players will miss the game, and with Amari Cooper also questionable, the Bills’ offense will be short-handed. Tight ends Dawson Knox and Quintin Morris are expected to step up, especially in the red zone, as the team’s depth is tested heading into this crucial matchup.
