Fans eagerly awaited to see if Taylor Swift would attend the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game on Sunday to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, but she never showed up. Having just completed a three-night concert run in Toronto the night before, and with Toronto being a short flight from Buffalo, many fans speculated that she might be there.
However, the game proceeded without her, and the Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season, falling 30-21 to the Bills.
Ahead of the game, an NFL insider shared that Swift didn’t feel comfortable attending the Chiefs vs. Bills playoff game in Buffalo last season. If she chose not to attend this time, it was likely due to similar concerns. Following her absence, fans on X (formerly Twitter) expressed their thoughts, suggesting that Swift might have felt unwelcome.
Adam Lefkoe, a friend of the Kelce family, revealed during the *Up & Adams* show that the Kelce family was “shocked” by how they were treated by Bills fans during last season’s playoff game in Buffalo.
“I’ve heard from people very close to the Kelce family that it was not a great experience in Buffalo,” Lefkoe said on November 14. “It was not, for all parties involved. And I’m talking about the most famous of all the parties.” He added that the Kelce family and their associates were surprised by the reception they received in Buffalo.
