Sad news: injury Woes Continue for Warriors, but Draymond Green’s Record-Tying Performance Offers Hope.

The Golden State Warriors secured a thrilling 123-118 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, advancing to 10-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Emirates NBA Cup. Despite Stephen Curry’s slow start, the team’s balanced attack helped seal the victory.

Lindy Waters III suffered a hyperextended left knee injury, casting a shadow over the win. Waters had started strong, scoring eight points in 11 minutes before exiting the game.

Draymond Green scored 13 points, tying a personal record, and has now hit multiple three-pointers in four consecutive games, matching the longest streak of his career. The Warriors are 55-7 all-time when Green hits three triples.

Buddy Hield led Golden State with 18 points, while Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski combined for 25 points off the bench. Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green added 13 points each.

Historically, the Warriors’ 10-2 start under Steve Kerr indicates a strong chance of reaching the NBA Finals. Since Kerr became head coach, Golden State has started 10-2 or better five times, reaching the NBA Finals each time.

The Warriors face the Los Angeles Clippers next on Monday, seeking revenge for one of their two losses this season.
