Buffalo Bills’ New Stadium Costs Soar to $2.1 Billion

The price tag for the Buffalo Bills’ new stadium has jumped to $2.1 billion, exceeding initial estimates by $560 million. Team owners Terry and Kim Pegula will cover the additional costs. Despite the increase, the stadium remains on track to open by June 2026. The Pegulas are committed to building a “best-in-class” stadium, with features like curved sides and a north-south orientation to protect fans from wind. Taxpayers are contributing $850 million, while the Pegulas are responsible for $1.25 billion plus a $144 million community benefits package.
