“Paradise Found: Miami Lands Game-Changing Recruit”

Miami’s Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes got a win on the recruiting trail.

Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal scored a major victory on the recruiting trail by flipping four-star defensive lineman Hayden Lowe, who was previously committed to USC. Lowe, from Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, CA, is a significant loss for the USC defense, which has already faced other setbacks and could use more reinforcement. Lowe will now play for Miami under defensive ends coach Jason Taylor, a six-time Pro Bowler in the NFL, which played a big role in his decision.

Lowe explained his choice in an interview with On3, highlighting Taylor’s experience as a major factor in his decision. “To be the best, you have to be coached by the best, someone who’s been through what you’re going through,” Lowe said. “There’s no one in college football who can teach you like Jason Taylor. He’s competed against the best, overcome struggles, won games, and even won Super Bowls. He holds records. There’s no other coach who can provide the insight he can.”
