The Green Bay Packers are feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on the Chicago Bears this Sunday, with a fully healthy roster coming out of their bye week. Excitingly, every active player participated in Wednesday’s practice, signaling a clean bill of health that even included some fresh updates, like tight end Tucker Kraft finally trading his non-contact jersey for a regular one.
The Packers went into their bye without many injuries, but they were missing key players like veteran center Josh Myers (wrist), star cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), and safety Evan Williams (hamstring), all of whom are now back in action. Myers, who had been struggling with a painful wrist injury, expressed relief, saying he’s feeling “definitely better” after the bye, hoping to be fully ready for Sunday.
In a bid to strengthen their roster, the Packers have activated running back MarShawn Lloyd for potential play. Lloyd’s rookie season has been plagued with injuries, but his return brings speed and versatility to the backfield, something teammate Josh Jacobs is excited to see in action.
And while tight end Luke Musgrave is still sidelined after ankle surgery, he’s back in Green Bay and even made an appearance on the stationary bike, hinting at steady recovery.
Receiver Jayden Reed summed up the team’s fresh energy: “I feel really good right now… That’s why we had a bye week, and hopefully everybody’s feeling much better so we can go out there and fly around, play the best ball we can play.”
With a healthy, motivated roster, the Packers are heading into Sunday’s game with renewed intensity and playoff aspirations in sight.
