NFL REPORT: It seems there’s a bit of a whirlwind regarding the Wisconsin Badgers ’ quarterback Van Dyke potential involvement.

Tyler Van Dyke’s injury is a significant blow for Wisconsin. His right knee/leg injury, which occurred during a run in the opening drive of their game against Alabama, has already led to him being ruled out for the remainder of the game. His visibly upset reaction and subsequent use of crutches suggest that the injury might be serious. The severity will become clearer after MRI results are available, but initial indications are not promising.

Van Dyke’s absence is compounded by the fact that he’s had a history of injuries, including a rare knee lesion last year and missed games in the 2022 season. He was starting to make an impact at Wisconsin, with a solid performance in his first two games and completing all five of his passes before his injury.

With Van Dyke out, backup Braedyn Locke stepped in, managing to pass for 125 yards and Wisconsin’s only touchdown in their 42-10 loss to Alabama. The Badgers will need to adjust quickly if Van Dyke’s injury is as severe as it appears, and it could impact their season significantly.
