Fernando Alonso, a seasoned F1 driver and two-time world champion, has hailed Newey as an “inspiration,” reflecting the high regard in which the legendary designer is held.
Newey’s record speaks for itself: 12 drivers’ championships and 13 constructors’ titles over his illustrious career with teams such as Williams, McLaren, and Red Bull.
