DÉPART INATTENDU : trois joueurs clés et l’entraîneur du Castres Olympique ont décidé de ne pas revenir après….

The new coaching team at Castres Olympique, led by forwards coach Joe El-Abd, has set an ambitious goal for the club: a return to the top six of the Top 14. Although they haven’t set any concrete expectations, they are focused on climbing back to the top of the table.

Castres, once a top contender, struggled last season, barely avoiding relegation, which led to early coaching changes. With Christophe Urios now at the helm and a new coaching staff in place, the team is optimistic but acknowledges that there’s still a lot of work to do.

El-Abd, who followed Urios from Oyonnax, said it wasn’t an easy decision to leave his former club but believes it was the right move for his career. As Castres prepares for the new season, starting with a tough match against Bordeaux, El-Abd is confident in the team’s potential and is eager to see continued improvement.
