Geelong Football Club has announced several changes following the conclusion of the 2020 season. James Rahilly, a life member of the club with 90 senior games and a decade of coaching experience, will join the Adelaide Crows as an assistant coach. Geelong’s general manager of football, Simon Lloyd, praised Rahilly’s contributions and wished him well.

Additionally, three players—James Parsons, Jacob Kennerley, and Blake Schlensog—will not receive contracts for 2021. Parsons played 35 senior games for the Cats, while Kennerley and Schlensog contributed at the VFL level. Lloyd expressed gratitude for their growth and affirmed that they will always be welcome at the club.
