Aalborg og Fredericia havnede i hver deres gruppe, da der blev trukket lod til næste sæsons Champions League.

Aalborg Håndbold has landed in a tough group for the upcoming Champions League season, as revealed in Thursday’s draw. The Danish champions, who reached last season’s Champions League final, will face strong opponents, including the German champions SC Magdeburg and FC Barcelona, who defeated Aalborg in the previous final. Meanwhile, Fredericia HK, the other Danish team, is placed in a different group, where they will face top teams like Veszprem from Hungary and Paris Saint-Germain from France. This marks Fredericia’s first appearance in the tournament in over 40 years.

In the women’s draw, three Danish teams are participating: Team Esbjerg, Nykøbing Falster Håndbold (NFH), and Odense Håndbold. Esbjerg, the Danish champion, ended up in Group B alongside Odense and the reigning Champions League winner, Györ, who knocked Esbjerg out in the semifinals last season. NFH was placed in a different group and will face the French club Metz.
