DONE DEAL: Arizona finalize a contract, clearing a path for a top-tier player…..

The Arizona have re-signed eight players to future contracts, a common post-regular season practice in the NFL. Among these re-signees, notable names include Andre Baccellia and Tony Jones Jr.

Baccellia, who has seen extensive transactions with the team (30 over the past 32 months), played 49 offensive snaps and 18 special teams snaps in the 2023 season but did not record any offensive touches. Jones Jr., on the other hand, had 44 offensive snaps and 13 special teams snaps, contributing with five rushes for 25 yards and three receptions for 16 yards.

These players, who were part of the practice squad last season, will now have the opportunity to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster during the summer. This year’s signings mainly focus on bolstering the offensive line and skill player depth, contrasting with last year’s inclusion of specialists like a kicker, punter, and long snapper【source】.
