SAD NEWS: I am Leaving; Ohio State Buckeyes RB TreVeyon Henderson Said After He…

The two had just helped carry Ohio State’s offense to a 24-10 win over Wisconsin. They combined for 330 of Ohio State’s 407 total yards and accounted for all three touchdowns.

Unlike Harrison, Henderson’s performance was a bit of a surprise. Not because of a lack of talent but because he had been out for a month before Saturday’s game.
Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson could return to the field for the first time in three weeks.

Head coach Ryan Day told ESPN’s Pete Thamel that Henderson will be a game-time decision for Saturday’s game against Penn State.

The official injury report sent out by Ohio State lists the junior running back as out with an undisclosed injury for the marquee showdown between the undefeated Big Ten rivals.

In addition to Henderson, The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman noted wide receiver Emeka Egbuka will also be a game-time decision.
Henderson hasn’t played since Sept. 23 against Notre Dame. He ran for a season-high 104 yards and scored a touchdown in Ohio State’s 17-14 win in South Bend.

The Buckeyes have cited an undisclosed injury that has kept Henderson out. Their rushing attack has looked sluggish without their lead back. They managed just 62 yards on 33 carries in a 37-17 win over Maryland.

Last week against Purdue saw the ground game rebound a bit with 152 yards on 39 attempts, but the average of 3.9 yards per carry didn’t inspire a lot of confidence that things had been fixed.
