Ozzie Albies was approached by Bally Sports for an interview when he went to watch the Atlanta Hawks Friday night.
Of course, he was asked about former Atlanta third base coach Ron Washington’s departure to be the head coach for the Los Angeles Angels.
“When I saw the news, I was sad actually,” Albies said. “He’s like a dad to me. For the rest of the team, he treats us all the same. He brings it all in with mentality and prepares you for every situation. It’s a big loss for Atlanta for sure. All I can tell him is good luck and the best in Anaheim.”
