The Portuguese soccer star was spotted roaming the streets of Lisbon, Portugal, behind the wheel of his super-expensive, super-exclusive Ferrari, right before joining his teammates for the game against Slovenia. Ronaldo missed Portugal’s clash with Sweden last week. He was on holiday in Saudi Arabia following a busy season with Al Nassr.
He was seen pulling up in front of the Four Season Hotel in the heart of Lisbon. He got out of the car and handed it over to a hotel valet and supposedly entered the luxury hotel.
Ronaldo owns an impressive collection, which is reportedly worth $18 million. But it could turn out to be more valuable since he owns a couple of Bugattis to start with. The soccer star was also credited with the ownership of the one-of-one Bugatti La Voiture Noire, but the info has never been confirmed. He surely has a Veyron, a Chiron, and a Centodieci, though, alongside a Mercedes-AMG G 63 tuned by Brabus, a McLaren Senna, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Cullinan, and the list endlessly goes on.
His Daytona SP3, part of Ferrari’s Icona Series alongside the Monza SP1 and SP2, is not as exclusive as La Voiture Noire, but it is one of only 599 that Ferrari is building for the global market. And all 599 units had already been spoken for, as usual, when the Maranello-based brand rolls out a limited edition.
The SP3 is powered by Ferrari’s most powerful engine and the first street-legal Ferrari to sport a mid-mounted 12-cylinder engine with no electrification since the Ferrari Enzo back in 2002. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V8 pumps out 829 horsepower (840 metric horsepower) and 514 pound-feet (697 Newton meters) of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Those are enough for a run from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 2.85 seconds, and it does 0 to 124 mph (0 to 200 kph) in 7.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph).
