Caitlin Clark, Iowa draw record TV numbers for CBS in Big Ten women’s basketball championship vs. Nebraska
Caitlin Clark is must-watch television whenever she steps on the court.
The Iowa sensation is one of the most electric players to ever grace college basketball. With a career in the WNBA season on the horizon, there are only a handful of games left in her NCAA career.
Clark’s final Big Ten contest was a memorable one. Iowa successfully completed a comeback win over Nebraska on Sunday afternoon in the Big Ten championship game, taking down the Cornhuskers 94-89 in overtime to claim the program’s third straight conference title. After a slow start, the standout senior dazzled with a 34-point, 12-assist performance to help the Hawkeyes to the victory.
Conference championships always draw more eyes than normal on television, but any contest involving Clark is not a typical viewing experience. The viewership numbers are out, and they are just as impressive as Clark herself.
