Gordon Hayward’s career distributionHayward was selected 9th overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2010 NBA Draft. Hayward spent seven seasons with the Jazz, the last of which was his only All-Star selection. Hayward averaged 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists over those seven years.In the 2017 offseason, Hayward signed a max contract with the Boston Celtics, reuniting him with his college coach, Brad Stevens. In the first game with the Celtics, Hayward broke his tibia and sprained his ankle, missing the rest of the season. However, Hayward made a full recovery and played 72 games with the Celtics in the 2018-19 season. The Butler alum spent one more season with the Celtics before joining the Hornets in the 2020 offseason.
