Mike Nawrocki insists he never doubted a move to Celtic.
The Polish defender has had a disappointing start to his Parkhead career after suffering a serious hamstring injury.
It’s difficult enough for any player to go more than four months without playing.
But for the 22-year-old, living in a new country and with a new club, a bitter situation could have become even more difficult.
Nawrocki could have been forgiven for going through some dark days alone and wondering whether a move to Glasgow was worth it.
However, such doubts and feelings of regret never occurred to the centre-back.
As Naworocki explained, he has no regrets.
“I feel like I’m a perfect fit here.
For myself, I knew it was only a matter of time before I played again.
I’ve always been confident that things would work out in the end.
“I could have made a different decision, but I’m very happy to be here with everyone.
The situation was something no one could have predicted.
” Sometimes in football.
, that kind of thing happens.
On his way home, Navrocki received support from various organizations inside and outside the club, and used his time away positively.
