BREAKING NEWS: Snooker rival Ronnie O’Sullivan was called ‘pathetic’ by his opponent after shaking hands

Mark Williams has called Iranian Hossein “pathetic” after he refused to shake his hand at the World Grand Prix.
The former took a 3-1 lead in the round of 16 at Morningside Arena.
Williams failed to throw the pink ball and Buffai jumped out of the way of the referee.
The crowd did not take his actions particularly well and booed the player as he was sent off.
Williams wasn’t happy either after being refused a handshake.

After his win, he took to social media to describe Buffai’s actions as “pathetic” and “shocking”, before revealing that he had “always been on good terms” with his rival.
He then tried to explain Vafai’s anger.

After securing the win, Williams revealed: “I asked him about it and said, ‘What’s the problem?
‘” I said it was because I slapped myself.
“I ended up slapping myself because I shouldn’t have chosen pink.
I should have played it safe and thought he went back to the table and continued playing snooker.
“So I was a little angry, I shouldn’t have chosen pink, I knew that, but he just left.
” He said that was the reason, if that was the reason.
If so, it’s me.
That’s wrong.
That’s the problem anyway.

This is not the first time Mr Vafay has started a rivalry.
He is currently embroiled in a long-running saga with Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Ahead of the 2022 World Cup, the 29-year-old collided with O’Sullivan.
He suggested that his retirement was “bad for the game,” but eventually retracted that comment.
But it wasn’t enough to satisfy O’Sullivan, who added fuel to the fire ahead of last year’s world championships.
He said: “Has he said a lot this year?
I think he’s learned to be quiet.
Don’t rattle my cage!
Just having fun.
They I love it when they call me, I love it when they give me something.
’ I’m there.
