JUST IN:Kuhn and the 60-game threshold

If you’re looking for (football) gems, you have to do some (data) mining.

Jota was discovered after spending time on the bench at Valladolid.

For 18 months, Nicholas Kuhn, 24, plowed his way into Rapid Vienna’s right wing.

Just as Mr.

Kuhn left Munich for Vienna, his Rapid Points were deducted for various financial failures, including failing to submit invoices on time.

They currently sit sixth in the Austrian Bundesliga, a little closer to relegation than favorites.
For comparison, the team two above him in the standings averaged a home attendance of 2,537 last season.
The Rapids are by far the most supported team in the country, but they are the epitome of dysfunction.
Nicolas made a total of 60 appearances for the first team, almost half of which were in the German second division (on loan from FC Bayern to Erzgebirge Aue).
How many games a player played before joining Celtic is a metric that you and I often discuss.
60 is enough to get interesting statistics and scout the player, but not high enough to attract clubs in the richer leagues.

This was his breakthrough season.

He started less than half of the Rapids’ league games last season, but was first-choice in all but one game this season (he suffered a stroke that day).

All we know for sure is that we’ll be releasing players we like this month to focus on the ones we want.

When he arrives, he falls into the latter category.

Furthermore, he was born on the first day of the new millennium.

I feel like I’m already old
