With The Rock’s recent return to WWE, all signs seem to point to an impending feud with Roman Reigns, but will the two clash at the upcoming Elimination Chamber or this year’s WrestleMania?
Jim Ross says on his podcast “Grilling JR” that “The Grandest Stage of Them All” is the obvious target.
It’s clear that Rock just showed up and has some work to do, but Ross said he was surprised the veteran went after Reigns so quickly.
“I was a little surprised that he was looking for a sport again, but we’ll see what happens,” Ross continued, adding that he’s always been a rock fan and was into the sport from the beginning.
Members of “People’s Champions” participated.
However, he pointed out that rock’s appearance was significant.
“If we get any time from The Rock, that’s a win.
So how do you arrive at the end result?
The end result has to be WrestleMania, of course you don’t need a strategist for that.
Ross went on to say that while a feud with Reigns would be perfect, Cody Rhodes fans might not be happy with this potential outcome.
“It might not be particularly popular with Cody Rhodes fans because I think there are still some people who are a little upset that Roman defeated Cody at the last WrestleMania,” he said.
He noted that a victory at “Nation Chamber” could be The Rock’s path to WrestleMania.
However, one wondered if WWE could convince him to stay away from Hollywood for such an extended period of time.
