Chelsea are reportedly planning to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as Mauricio Pochettino seeks to strengthen his attack. The Blues are in search of a prolific striker in the winter transfer window, as Nicholas Jackson has struggled to find the mark. Vlahovic, who has a market valuation of £51m, is a lethal goalscorer and finisher, making him a perfect fit for the physical demands of the Premier League. However, Chelsea face competition from Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who are also interested in the Serbian forward. Vlahovic’s departure for AFCON raises questions about Chelsea’s willingness to invest heavily in a striker with nagging injuries.
